JP Nadda claims that “Indira Gandhi had jailed Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar, but now they are welcoming Rahul Gandhi”

Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar were imprisoned by Indira Gandhi, but both are now inviting Rahul Gandhi to Patna, according to BJP National President JP Nadda on Friday.

JP Nadda reminisced about his early years when he spoke to a crowd during a rally in Kalahandi. Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar were imprisoned for a total of 22 months and 20 months, respectively, by Rahul Gandhi’s grandmother Indira Gandhi, yet they are now welcome him to Patna. “I wonder what has changed in politics today as I see them welcome. From their starting point and their destination,” he said.

Rahul Gandhi said that there is an ideological conflict taking on in India between the Congress party, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in his talk to the Bihar Congress party members earlier today in Patna.

In India, there is an ideological conflict. The “Bharat Jodo” philosophy of the Congress party is on one side, while the “Bharat Todo” ideology of the RSS and the BJP is on the other. Rahul Gandhi said that Bihar has the DNA of the Congress party.

Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge came in Patna, Bihar, to participate in the opposition leaders’ conference that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was hosting. The goal of the meeting was to get an agreement on creating a unified opposition front to oppose the BJP.

The eagerly awaited conference of the opposition got off in Patna, Bihar, under the auspices of the state’s chief minister, Nitish Kumar, with the goal of reaching an agreement to form a unified opposition front to challenge the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The Opposition chose Patna as the location for its summit because it commemorates Jayaprakash Narayan’s demand for a complete revolution in 1974, which led to the overthrow of Indira Gandhi’s majority government.
