On December 30, Prime Minister Modi will open Ayodhya Airport and unveil ₹3k crore worth of infrastructure

Lucknow: During his visit to Ayodhya on December 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would lay the groundwork for 29 development projects valued at over ₹3,284.60 crore, persons with knowledge of the situation said on Friday.

They further said that the Prime Minister would open the Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport and the Ayodhya railway station when he is in town.

Weeks before the highly anticipated consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple on January 22, PM Modi visited the temple town as part of the government’s infrastructural drive to turn Ayodhya into a profitable religious tourist destination.

During his visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil new initiatives for Ayodhya valued at many crores. In addition, he would dedicate 23 finished projects to the people of Ayodhya on this day, according to Ved Prakash Gupta, a BJP MLA from Ayodhya (Sadar).

A government source who wished to remain anonymous said that the prime minister would officially launch 29 ministries’ worth of development projects totaling more than ₹3,284.60 crore.

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, met with the local government on Thursday to go over the arrangements for Modi’s visit and to provide instructions. “On December 30, the PM is expected to arrive in Ayodhya prior to the much-anticipated consecration event at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. The Prime Minister will provide Ayodhya projects valued at hundreds of crores during his visit. Given the significance of the occasion, the local government should work with the Center to make all required preparations, according to a chief minister’s office announcement. A budget of ₹100 crore has been set up by the state government for Ramotsav, an event that commemorates the dedication of the Ram Temple and will take place from December 30 to January 22.

Concurrently, the government has initiated a road widening and beautification drive, striving for enhanced connectivity.

Seven thousand persons, three thousand of them are VVIPs, have been invited to the event by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which is in charge of managing the temple’s construction.

Cricket greats Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, and billionaire businessmen Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani are among those invited.

4,000 seers from all throughout the nation have also been invited by the trust.
