Party officials are urged by Amit Shah to make sure the BJP wins

Home Minister Amit Shah has called on leaders of the Odisha Bharatiya Janata Party to give their all for a month in order to guarantee the party’s triumph in the State’s concurrent Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

Following a critical meeting with BJP leaders from 13 parliamentary seats held here on Thursday night, Shah encouraged them to put their differences aside and cooperate, according to party State president Manmohan Samal. Odisha need a youthful, healthy chief minister who speaks Odia, according to Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi, who quoted Shah.

The party’s MP candidates from Berhampur, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Dhenkanal, and Mayurbhanj attended the gathering. Shah requested that party candidates go door-to-door and interact with regular people during the meeting. He told them that the Central leadership will do all within its power to assist the formation of the BJP administration in the State, according to sources.

According to Samal, Shah placed a strong focus on securing a majority in the Assembly elections and all 21 of the State’s Lok Sabha seats in order to establish the next Odisha administration.

A politician quoted Shah and stated, “The State government is looting the funds of the Central government and everyone should come together and take a decision to realise Modiji’s dream.”

Shah justified his confidence about the BJP’s chances in Odisha by pointing out that the party’s vote share varied between 32 and 34 percent, which he considered enough for the State’s development and governance.

Among those present at the meeting were MLA Mohan Majhi, women leader Prabhati Parida, former president of the State party Samir Mohanty, BJP in-charge Sunil Bansal, and BJP election in-charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar.

Amit Shah sounded the campaign horn in Odisha on Thursday at a public event in Sonepur Assembly segment in Bolangir Lok Sabha constituency, attacking the ruling Biju Janata Dal.

Speaking in Sonepur’s Rameswar Stadium during “Vijay Sankalp Samavesh,” Shah exhorted the populace to overthrow the BJD government in the State this time. Raising concerns about the dignity of Odia language and culture, widespread corruption, migration from Odisha, and resource looting, he specifically challenged the governing BJD.
