Piyush Goyal: Congress-led government in Rajasthan is indifferent to corruption and unemployment

On Saturday, BJP leader and union minister Piyush Goyal took aim at the Rajasthan Congress administration for a number of problems, including unemployment and corruption, and said that it had adopted an appeasement strategy.

Goyal accused the Rajasthani administration of being indifferent to corruption, unemployment, and development projects during a news conference at the BJP headquarters in Alwar.

Goyal said, “The unemployed feel cheated by the paper leak scandal,” according to a party release. Rajasthan’s Congress-led administration cannot even provide residents access to drinking water. The government’s method of operation is under scrutiny.

Additionally, he said that the state administration had adopted an appeasement strategy.

Goyal and BJP legislator Poonam Mahajan attended a number of events in Alwar to commemorate the nine years that Narendra Modi has served as prime minister.

Goyal said that while India’s GDP is now ranked fifth in the world, attempts are being made to move it up to third place.
