PM Modi Launches Nine Vande Bharat Trains That Will Help 11 States Have Better Connectivity

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi used video conferencing to signal the departure of nine Vande Bharat trains. These brand-new Vande Bharat trains represent a significant step in achieving the Prime Minister’s goal of enhancing national connectivity and offering top-notch amenities to rail travelers.

The newly launched trains are: Udaipur – Jaipur Tirunelveli-Madurai-Chennai Vande Bharat Express Vande Bharat Express: Bengaluru-Hyderabad Vijayawada – Chennai (via Renigunta) Vande Bharat Express The Vande Bharat Express runs from Patna to Howrah and from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram. The eleven states of Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar, West Bengal, Kerala, Odisha, Jharkhand, and Gujarat would all benefit from the increased connectivity brought about by these nine trains.

These Vande Bharat trains would be the swiftest on their respective itineraries, saving passengers a significant amount of time. Rourkela- Bhubaneswar- Puri Vande Bharat Express and Kasaragod- Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express will travel faster than the current fastest train on the route by about 3 hours; Hyderabad- Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will travel faster than 2.5 hours; Tirunelveli-Madurai- Chennai Vande Bharat Express will travel faster than 2 hours; Ranchi- Howrah Vande Bharat Express, Pat

The Rourkela- Bhubaneswar- Puri Vande Bharat Express and the Tirunelveli-Madurai-Chennai Vande Bharat Express would link Puri and Madurai, two significant religious cities, in accordance with the Prime Minister’s aim to increase connectivity of key religious locations throughout the country. Additionally, the Renigunta route will be used by the Vijayawada to Chennai Vande Bharat Express, which will link travelers to the Tirupati Pilgrimage Center.

A new level of rail service in the nation would be introduced with the launch of these Vande Bharat trains.
