PM Modi Needs Chanakyan Leadership at This Critical Moment: Amish Tripathi’s Reason for Voting

New Delhi: Renowned novelist Amish Tripathi chose to break his “self-imposed” political silence as the Lok Sabha 2018 polls approached and he endorsed the BJP, stating that “We need Chanakyan leadership at this crucial time.”

The novelist took to the microblogging platform X to discuss why he would be supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his administration in the next Lok Sabha elections, which are set to start on April 19.

Declaring that it is essential to vote for the Prime Minister, he explained his reasoning for endorsing the NDA administration via his candidatures.

He stated, “The obvious reasons from his government’s past record have been covered by many, and I will quickly run through some of them.” Significantly lower rates of poverty, a strong national economy and financial system, vastly better infrastructure (I can witness it in Varanasi, where my family is from, as well as in Mumbai), higher GDP growth rates, investments in science and technology, incentives for start-ups and small-business loans (which is something I hear about from my readers, who are mostly young people), and significantly better welfare delivery (which has reduced leakages that were common in the past) are all desirable. Everything well.

However, The Main Reason Is
In addition to his work on development, Tripathi explained why he was supporting the NDA government, citing the need for Chanakyan leadership for the nation and civilization in this time of chaos surrounding the post-1945 global order and peace and the looming threat of war in many theatres.

He continued by saying that there is often a period of “chaos, tumult and often war” when the “Global Order” falls apart.

“We Indians need leadership that is highly motivated, has the best competencies, is able to work hard, and can inspire the people at this pivotal time in global history. and the ability to interact with the outside world with clear clarity, compassion when appropriate, and steely resolution when called for,” the author said.

Prime Minister Modi is loved and admired by many. Some people don’t. For those who don’t, I implore you to consider this: at this pivotal moment in global history, we want a strong government led by a majority that can interact with the world forcefully and guarantee that India rises to the top when this turbulent time is past,” he said.

To illustrate its effects, Tripathi drew a line between a weak and a strong India. We Indians at least have a chance of becoming powerful if India does well. We will all inevitably deteriorate if India falters, as it did in the late 1950s, early 1960s, early 1970s, and early 1980s.

“We need Chanakyan leadership at this critical time for our nation and our civilization,” he said in his address to voters. Prime Minister Modi must stay in office. In my constituency, I will be casting my vote for the NDA candidate. I’m hoping you will as well.
