In Nubra, the SVEEP team hosts a voter education camp
An awareness camp on voting rights and electoral participation was held in Nubra Valley by the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Team, Leh.
The last border villages in the Nubra Valley, Thang and Tyakshi, hosted awareness camps. Additionally, a camp for awareness was conducted with laborers from Siachen Base camp at Khimi, Tongsted, and Warshi.
The camp emphasized the significance of voter education, registration, and participation in determining the destiny of the local community and the country as a whole.
All participants, including families living on the move, received information on their rights and obligations. They were also prepared to participate in the political process and make knowledgeable judgments during elections.
