How were the tulips that blossom only in the springtime provided for the January Ram Mandir ceremony?

According to union minister Jitendra Singh, a unique kind of tulips was given for the Ram Mandir dedication event since it blooms year-round.

In a statement released on Sunday, the minister of science and technology said that tulips developed specifically for the Ram Mandir consecration event had been provided by the CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT) in Palampur.

According to Singh, the reason for the flower’s peculiarity is that tulips usually bloom only in the spring in certain areas, but new indigenous technology has made it possible for the flower to be accessible all year round, overcoming its seasonal restrictions.

“This season is not when tulips blossom. It grows only in the springtime in Jammu & Kashmir and a few other upper Himalayan locations. According to him, the CSIR-IHBT has created a homegrown technique that would enable tulips to be accessible all year round without being dependent on the season.

Singh praised the influence of CSIR technology on daily life, describing the institute’s laboratories throughout the nation as cutting-edge symbols of New India. He went on to emphasize the contributions made to the Aroma Mission and Purple Revolution by the Indian Institute of Integrative Medicines (ISM) in Jammu. The government wants to support the native aromatic crop-based agro-economy via these programs.

The lotus known as Namoh 108 blooms from March to December.
Singh said that the creation of a new lotus variety known as “NBRI Namoh108” by the National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) in Lucknow marks a significant accomplishment.

This nutrient-rich and aesthetically pleasing lotus-type blooms from March to December. He said that because of its special qualities, it is the first lotus type whose genome has been completely sequenced.
