Poll awareness stickers are placed on 618 buildings’ elevators: the CEO of Haryana

Anurag Agarwal, the chief electoral officer of Haryana, said that 618 public and private buildings in the state have had awareness stickers placed on their elevators in an attempt to increase public awareness of the Lok Sabha elections.

According to him, the sticker says, “On May 25, 2024, use this finger to press the EVM button in addition to the lift button.” When voters arrive at the polls, democracy need to be reinforced.

The sticker’s headline, “Chunaav Ka Parv—Desh Ka Garv,” emphasizes the importance of the voting process. The sticker reminds us to use our voting rights by showing a finger hitting the button on an electronic voting machine.
