Property tax paid by 11 medical establishments is Rs 5.11 crore

The Yashoda Hospitals, which operate 11 medical facilities across the city, paid Rs 5.11 crore in property tax under the Early Bird Scheme for the financial year 2024–25, according to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). These medical facilities received a total rebate of Rs 26.92 lakh.

The hospital’s administration presented the checks to GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose on Tuesday. The program, which went into effect on April 1, gives those who pay their property taxes before April 30 a five percent discount.

Only the property tax paid in the current fiscal year is eligible for the refund. The Citizen Service Center (CSC) of the GHMC Head Office and circle-level offices will be available for property tax payments even on Sundays, with only one week remaining under the Early Bird Scheme. They’ll be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
