Regarding Ravneet Bittu’s “outsider” comment, Raja Warring said, “I work for entire Punjab.”

Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, president of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, responded to Ravneet Bittu’s call for him to be a “outsider” by saying, “As president of the PPCC, my allegiance is with the welfare of the entire state, transcending specific locales.” As long as I represent Punjab as a whole, I am free to run from any constituency.

Warring said, “This election is a struggle between nationalism and disloyalty, devotion to Punjab and the country versus the disloyalty committed by Ravneet Bittu. Faithfulness and trust will win out. The resounding support Ludhiana’s residents have shown for me highlights their endorsement of my candidacy.

In the meanwhile, Partap Singh Bajwa, the Leader of the Opposition (LoP), said on Tuesday that he would rent a home in Ludhiana in order to promote Warring.

Bajwa and Raja Warring said that Ravneet Singh Bittu, the BJP candidate from Ludhiana, will learn a lesson from the Punjab Congress and the people of Ludhiana.

“To face Bittu, I’m camping in Ludhiana. He had issued me a challenge to run from Ludhiana. I’m going to Ludhiana right now to make sure Warring wins,” Bajwa said.

Bajwa also ruled out the prospect of forming an alliance with the Punjab Aam Aadmi Party after the election. “Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant fulfilled his pledge to the people of Punjab by doing the exact opposite. Bajwa said, “He is neither serious nor honest to rule Punjab.
