Shah: During the Congress period, ultras caused chaos, but Modi safeguarded India

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Thursday that after terror attacks, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s air and surgical operations inside Pakistan increased India’s security. Speaking at a campaign rally in the Vejalpur neighborhood of the city, Modi said that he had moved the nation’s economy from being ranked eleventh to fifth in ten years and that, under his third term, it would get to third place in the world.

Shah is running for the Gandhinagar seat in the Lok Sabha elections. “Anyone would come from Pakistan and cause bomb explosions here every day in the Sonia Gandhi-Manmohan Singh government,” he added. Following it, terrorist attacks occurred in Pulwama (in 2019) and Uri (in 2016). We entered Pakistan and carried out air and surgical attacks in a matter of days,” he said.

He said, “The atmosphere in the country suggests that we will get more than 400 seats,” during his roadshow. This time around, the BJP would do the best it has ever done in south India, he said. Modi became the prime minister of the nation after the BJP won all 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat in 2014, according to Shah. Notably, in the general elections of 2019, the Bharatiya Janata Party won 25 seats in Karnataka and 4 in Telangana. The party has failed to make any headway in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh, the other three southern states.

Shah said, “If we are going to win 400 seats, you can imagine how many will be left for them,” in response to a question on how many seats the opposition’s India group will get. “The nation is in a state of trust and excitement for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Farmers, women, the underprivileged, and young people are all excited to support PM Modi and have trust in him, he said.

In order to escape the summer heat, the head of the BJP urged voters to cast their ballots early.

The seven Assembly segments that make up the Gandhinagar seat are Gandhinagar North, Kalol, Sanand, Ghatlodia, Vejalpur, Naranpura, and Sabarmati. In the general elections held in 2019, Shah became victorious from Gandhinagar with over five lakh votes.
