Shah said the government would keep using its strong tactics against the Maoists

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Wednesday that the Maoists would be driven out of the nation by the Narendra Modi administration in a very short amount of time. In Kanker, Chhattisgarh, security officers were praised by Shah for their bravery and commitment in carrying out effective anti-Maoist operations that led to the death of 29 Maoist rebels.

A day after security forces shot and killed 29 Maoists in Chhattisgarh, he claimed in a statement that the Central government has been fighting terrorism and Naxals nonstop. “I am confident that we will eradicate Naxalism from our country in a short amount of time under Modi’s leadership,” he said. “Operations against Naxals will continue in the times to come.”
