Sukhpal Singh Khaira: AAP and BJP are abusing investigating agencies to intimidate opponents

Today, former Dhuri Congress MLA Dalvir Singh Goldy expressed his support to the party’s candidate, Sukhpal Singh Khaira, after raising concerns with the top leadership of the party on the denial of a ticket from the Sangrur parliamentary seat.

Khaira was given the assurance by Goldy and his spouse, Simrat Kaur Khangura, that every effort would be made to secure Khaira’s election success.

Khaira said that the AAP had “misused” the investigative agencies to stifle the voices of political opponents and had made “false” pledges during the 2022 Assembly election. According to Khaira, the BJP has been using the same approach at the federal level. He said that the state was home to an active drug and alcohol mafia.

To remove the BJP, Khaira pleaded with the people to cast their national ballots for the India bloc. He said that supporting SAD would help the BJP. He denounced the BJP for what he claimed to be crimes against farmers during agricultural protests. He went on to say that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was leading the BJP’s “B” squad.

The PCC head, Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, said that because the AAP had made “false” promises before the Assembly election, the time has come to respond appropriately. In order to discourage farmers from traveling to Delhi, he implored voters to give the BJP a lesson for employing force against them.
