The highest-debt state is AP, according to Sribharat

The Visakhapatnam M Sribharat, the TDP’s candidate for Lok Sabha, emphasized worries about Andhra Pradesh’s financial situation, pointing to pension payment delays as a key factor.

Sribharat said, “AP has now become the State with maximum borrowing and minimum development and is even unable to pay the pensions in time to the retired employees,” during a meeting with leaders of the Andhra Pradesh Pensioners Association on Friday. He emphasized the possible difficulties of paying off mounting debt and rising interest rates in the future, which would prevent making profitable investments.

Present were P Guravayya, G Poorna Chandra Rao, and other former leaders of the AP Pensioners Association.
