The TN CM praises NDRF Jawan

M K Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, commended Venkatesan, a jawan of the National Disaster Response Force, on Tuesday for notifying top authorities of the Odisha railway tragedy in time to help save lives.

The Chief Minister said on social media that Venkatesan, a Tamil Nadu resident, alerted senior officials at the appropriate time, and a neighboring NDRF unit raced to the scene to save several lives. On June 2, Venkatesan took the Coromandel Express.

Stalin praised Venkatesan for moving swiftly and decisively under horrible circumstances.
