The UNICEF and TCS teams applaud the Atal Tinkering Labs’ foundation in the AP
It was noted by UNICEF and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) representatives that Andhra Pradesh is using Atal Tinkering Labs more than other States in the nation.
On Friday, AP UNICEF Consultant T Sudarshan, UNICEF representatives from Hyderabad, UNICEF representatives from New Delhi, and UNICEF representatives from Hyderabad visited Movva and Penamaluru Zilla Parishad High Schools in the NTR district.
The government’s STEM-based initiatives, hub-and-spoke models, and atal tinkering laboratories installed in schools were all looked at. The UNICEF and TCS representatives commended various authorities, such as SURESH Kumar, Commissioner of School Education, B Srinivasa Rao, Director of Samagra Shiksha State Project, and Dr. B Pratap Reddy, Director of SCERT, for their proactive roles in ensuring efficient implementation.
The teams spoke about ways to improve STEM education and 21st-century skills in the State during their meeting with Suresh Kumar on Thursday. According to UNICEF personnel, a documentary about Atal Tinkering Labs’ performance in the State is being produced.
