The Vijayawada railway station was inspected

On Tuesday, the Vijayawada train station’s food shops were the subject of an unexpected inspection by Narendra A. Patil, DRM, Vijayawada Division, South Central train (SCR).

From station no. 1, he examined the rail dhaba, the catering booths, the IRCTC quick food units, and the water vending machines.

The DRM examined the booths’ customer service, hygienic practices, and food quality during the inspection. In addition, he made sure that only permitted products were offered by closely examining the expiration dates of the food items being sold.

He spoke with passengers and merchants, asking for comments and ideas for improvements. He emphasized how crucial it is to maintain strict guidelines for food quality and hygiene while serving passengers.

Patil also gave the vendors instructions on how to properly dispose of trash and display menu boards with pricing. He gave the catering crew instructions to maintain the highest standards and take the appropriate remedial steps to fix any errors.

In order to manage the summer traffic and create extra plans for water delivery to relieve passengers’ thirst, the DRM also recommended that officers and workers bolster their preparations on all fronts. He recommended that authorities visit train stations often to monitor cleanliness, ensure that the facilities are operating properly, and stop overcharging.
