Tihar refuses to let CM take his insulin: AAP

On Thursday, the AAP made accusations that the Modi administration had denied Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal insulin for a period of 28 days, hence giving rise to grave worries over his well-being.

The party said that although though Kejriwal was on an insulin reversal program, his medication was suddenly stopped after his incarceration, which led to a worrying rise in his blood sugar level, which is now as high as 300. The Tihar administration has refused his requests for insulin, and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Tihar prison officials are resisting efforts to set up a video conference with his physician.

AAP leader Atishi hinted to a possible plot while questioning the reasons for depriving Kejriwal of insulin and accusing the BJP of endangering his health. Furthermore, the ED has come under fire for disseminating false reports on the CM’s diet, despite the fact that sweets prepared with a prescription sweetener are permissible for him to eat.
