Two adolescents’ remains are removed from Morni Reservoir by the NDRF and police

The remains of two young people who drowned in a dam reservoir in the Morni area’s woodland on Wednesday were removed from the water by the police today with assistance from a team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).

The corpses of Irfan (22) of Mani Majra and Prince (19) of Ramgarh, according to police sources, were removed from the dam. They said that the two had gone for a swim in the unfenced woodland area with their buddies Ajay, Aman, and Gandhi. According to the authorities, their family saw that three of the boys had fallen into the river; nevertheless, only Aman was able to be rescued in time, and Prince and Irfan perished.

Following a postmortem, Prince and Irfan’s remains were given to their relatives, according to police authorities.

Following the death of a man and the injuries of his wife, mother, and two children, the Panchkula police have filed a complaint against the driver of the vehicle, who is yet to be identified. The incident occurred in a gorge near Morni.

When the tragedy happened, the deceased, Navneet Sharma, a Mullana village resident in Ambala, was coming back from the Mata Samlotha Devi Temple in Morni with his family.

According to Sandeep Sharma, Navneet’s cousin, “Navneet stopped by the road to inspect a sound that was coming from the vehicle,” which is when the accident occurred. Navneet had gone outside with his spouse to examine the car. When Navneet was checking out his automobile, a speeding car struck him, sending him plummeting into the ravine, and the driver took off.

Under Sections 279 (rash driving), 304-A (causing death by carelessness), and 337 (causing harm to any person by performing any act so rashly or recklessly as to endanger human life) of the IPC, the police have filed a complaint against the motorist who is yet to be identified.
