Two detained, as many accused in the murder of a young person

Pune: On Saturday, the Pimpri police detained two individuals, one of whom was a 40-year-old woman, and filed charges against a woman and a man for allegedly beating a 21-year-old guy to death in the Chinchwad area.
Ashok Kadlag, senior inspector of the Pimpri police, said, “The victim and the attackers are from the Dattanagar locality in Chinchwad, and all four of them suspected him of having an affair with one of their daughters.”

According to the police, the victim was a daily wage laborer who was apprehended by one of the accused near his residence and given a belt beating.
The senior inspector said, “The victim’s sister and others took him to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.” The victim’s sister reportedly filed a complaint, alleging the participation of four people—two of them were women—according to the officer.

“A lady was brought into jail on Monday after we apprehended a 25-year-old teenager on Sunday. According to the investigation, the two believed the victim was pestering a girl and having an affair. We are looking for the two people who are still missing,” he said. tnn
