Value of Naidu and Bhuvaneswari: Rs 931 cr
Big names from all throughout the State submitted their nominations on Friday. Bhuvaneswari, the wife of former chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, submitted nominations in Kuppam on her husband’s behalf.
According to an affidavit submitted to the Election Commission, the TDP chief and his family’s assets have climbed by more than 41% over the last five years, totaling Rs 810.42 crore.
The combined valuation of Naidu and Bhuvaneswari’s assets increased from Rs 668.57 crore in 2019 to over Rs 931 crore in 2024. This amount included immovable assets valued at Rs 1,21,41,41,609 and moveable goods of Rs 8,10,41,89,321.
Bhuvaneswari, the owner of nearly 2.26 lakh shares of Heritage Foods Ltd. at a market value of Rs 337.85 per share, owns the bulk of the assets, amounting to Rs 764 crore as opposed to Rs 545.76 crore in 2019.
She also has jewels valued at Rs 3,24,24,087. The TDP chief individually owns immovable property valued at Rs 36.31 lakh and moveable property valued at Rs 4.80 lakh. Naidu also owns an Ambassador car, which is valued at Rs 2.25 lakh. The family owes more than Rs 10 crore in total obligations.
Bhuvaneswari’s liabilities were Rs 8.83 crore, while the TDP chief’s liabilities were Rs 3.48 crore from a combined house loan with his son Nara Lokesh.
