When a container truck and an autorickshaw collide in Beed, a woman and two children are killed and one is wounded

According to authorities, a container truck crashed with an autorickshaw carrying a lady and her two young kids in Maharashtra’s Beed district, killing the woman and her children and injuring one other.

Around 8 p.m. on Sunday, a ghat section close to the hamlet of Ghatsavli in Beed Taluka was the scene of the mishap, according to an official.

According to him, a speeding container truck struck the three-wheeler and slammed into it, killing three of its passengers and critically injuring one more.

According to the official, the dead have been named as Nasreen Azim Sheikh, 35, and her sons Numan, 12, and Adnan, 10.

The victims, who were on their way home from Dharur Taluka, were citizens of Islampura in Beed City, he added.

The vehicle that overturned landed on the side of the highway. After the collision, officers from the Pimpalner police station hurried to the scene, the official said.
