Which Lok Sabha elected the most Muslim Members of Parliament in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections? Learn more here

In Indian politics, Muslim votes have always been seen as essential. This town is the second-most religiously diverse in the nation. Political parties make every effort to win over these minority votes because of this. It’s true that political circumstances change with time, but that in democracies, size matters a great deal. Under such circumstances, every attempt is made to use a variety of political ploys to polarise it.

The maximum number of MPs attained the Lok Sabha in 1980, while the least number did so in 2014.
The 17th Lok Sabha’s term is coming to a close, and the 18th Lok Sabha will be seated in June. The 17th Lok Sabha elected 27 Muslim Members of Parliament. In the 16th Lok Sabha, there were still the fewest Muslim Members of Parliament. In the Lok Sabha elections of 2014, just 22 Muslim MPs were elected. In the Lok Sabha elections of 1980, the greatest number of Muslim MPs were elected. In the seventh Lok Sabha, 49 MPs in all were present. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT ELECTIONS
