Young person discovered dead in local STP drain
On Friday, a young person was discovered dead in a sewer at the Bhattian village sewage treatment plant (STP). Whether the person went down the sewer by accident or was killed remains unknown.
Following their receipt of information, officers from the Salem Tabri police station hurried to the scene and started an investigation.
After being removed from the sewer, the corpse was moved to the morgue of the civic hospital.
The deceased, who seems to be approximately 25 years old, has not yet been recognized, according to the police.
A district-wide alert was issued to investigate reports of missing individuals that had been filed by different police stations in the past. The Salem Tabri police also questioned locals in an attempt to get more information about the dead child.
