Adrian Lee, a teenage sensation, has signed with ONE Championship and will make his ONE 167 debut

When Adrian Lee, an eighteen-year-old mixed martial arts prodigy, makes his ONE Championship debut this summer at ONE 167: Stamp vs. Zamboanga, he hopes to emulate his elder brother and sister.

On Saturday, June 8, in lightweight action, Antonio Mammarella takes on the younger brother of current two-weight ONE MMA World Champion Christian Lee and former ONE Atomweight MMA World Champion Angela Lee in Bangkok, Thailand’s Impact Arena.

Despite having just joined ONE earlier this month, Lee has already established a repertoire on the amateur circuit and will be making his professional debut. He also earned a state wrestling title in Hawaii, along with amateur titles in kickboxing, pankration, and mixed martial arts.

He will need to put those successes behind him when the new chapter of his career begins, however, as what he does at ONE 167 will serve as a springboard for his future in mixed martial arts.

Fans are looking forward to seeing Lee in June, but Mammarella, Lee’s opponent, is excited about the opportunity to steal the show when he makes his promotional debut as well.

The Australian fighter, who spent a considerable amount of time as an amateur and had a great deal of MMA expertise, has recently become pro and won his first fight by TKO.

Fortunately for Mammarella, MMAFFT teammates Coopar Royal and Faine Mesquita will be there to provide him with insider knowledge of everything ONE, so he’ll have excellent company in the organization. Nevertheless, supporters should anticipate that he will step up to face Lee.

The main event of ONE 167 will feature a fight for the ONE Atomweight MMA World Title between #2-ranked Denice Zamboanga and reigning champion Stamp Fairtex. PK Saenchai of Tawanchai and Jo Nattawut battle for Tawanchai’s ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title in the co-main event.
