Apologies, Debashish bhai. After hitting the cameraman with his shot, Rishabh Pant apologizes

A heartfelt apology was given by DC captain Rishabh Pant to a camera operator who was struck by one of the star batter’s shots. On Wednesday, April 24, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, DC defeated GT by a nerve-wracking 4-run margin. Pant’s amazing 88 runs from 43 balls earned him the title of Player of the Match.

Pant was seen with DC’s head coach Ricky Ponting after the game in a video posted on the IPL’s official social media account. Pant apologized to the camera operator and hoped for a speedier recovery in a kind gesture.
“Sorry, Debashish bhai, did not intend to hit you, but I think you can recover well and good luck,” Pant stated in the clip.

“During the DC vs. GT match, one of the camera operators from our BCCI Production Crew was struck. The caption said, “Captain of the Delhi Capitals and Player of the Match Rishabh Pant has a special message for the cameraperson.”

Pant must have struck out at the camera guy with such force, going back to his old school to give it a real knockout. But Pant politely asked for an apology for his inadvertent behavior.

When Pant made a comeback to his vintage best in Delhi, GT got things going strong, cutting DC to 15 for 3 on the powerplay alone. But Pant teamed up with Axar Patel, who was moved up to the No. 3 spot, and the two of them counterattacked the GT bowlers. It was one of Pant’s most daring innings since his incredible comeback from the December 2022 vehicle tragedy.

With his unconventional stroke-making, he entertained the crowd. Additionally, he whipped Mohit Sharma’s delivery for a shot that resembled a helicopter, sending fans and analysts into a frenzy. Pant got 62 runs from the last 18 balls he faced during his flurry of a knock. In his last over, he scorched Mohit for thirty-one runs, raising the score to 224. But even with David Miller and Sai Sudharasan’s best efforts, GT was unable to win the humdinger.
