Asian Games organizers prioritize using venues after the games

An official from the Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC) responded to rumors that Hangzhou would host future Olympic Games on Sunday by stating that the main focus right now is on how to make Asiad venues accessible to the general people.

The Executive Secretary General of HAGOC was reported by Xinhua news agency as saying, “Various international sports organizations have awarded us good grades, feeling that our present facilities match the conditions for hosting large-scale international events, including the Olympics.

Excellent facilities and general organization for the Asiad have earned praise for Hangzhou, which is being considered as a prospective contender to host the Olympic Games.

“How to increase public accessibility to additional locations is our top priority. On the last day of the Asian Games, Chen said, “We have not yet considered whether or not we would host the Olympics.

As the globe transitions to the digital economy, Wei Jizhong, the Honorary Life Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), said that the success of the Hangzhou Asian Games “has provided the OCA with an opportunity to establish basic criteria for upcoming Asian Games.”

“I would give the Asian Games in Hangzhou a score of 99 out of 100. Why 99? There’s always space to become better, Wei remarked.

Vinod Kumar Tiwari, the acting director general of OCA, has nothing but appreciation for the Hangzhou Games.

“Technically, these Asian Games were among the greatest ever. The Games’ caliber has been quite high. We are quite pleased,” he remarked.
