Monday, January 22, marked the beginning of the Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya, which was widely welcomed across the globe. Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the new Ram Lalla. Many sports stars and celebrities, including the legendary Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble, attended the occasion. Nonetheless, despite receiving invitations, numerous countrymen and fans were upset that two of the biggest idols of Indian cricket, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, chose not to come.

Sakshi, Dhoni’s wife, recently shared an Instagram story demonstrating that her family also saw the historic moment from home. (Ram Mandir Inauguration: Fans Surround Virat Kohli for Selfies After Seeing His Doppelgänger in Ayodhya; Watch)

Star Australian batter David Warner turned to social media on Monday to express his satisfaction at the ‘Ram Temple’ Pran Pratistha ceremony in Ayodhya. The left-hand opener wrote “Jai Sri Ram INDIA” under a photo of Lord Shri Ram that he shared on Instagram.

Warner is widely renowned for his appreciation of Indian culture. He often appears spouting language from famous films and dancing to popular Indian cinema songs while out on the town and engaging with fans. He has also said how much he enjoys Indian action films.

Keshav Maharaj, a spinner from South Africa and a Hindu family, was also ecstatic about this event. Maharaj wrote, “Jai Shree Raam,” on X.

Danish Kaneria, a former pacer for Pakistan and just the second Hindu after Anil Dalpat to represent Pakistan in international cricket, too conveyed his happiness.

“The wait of centuries is over, the pledge is fulfilled, the ‘Pran Pratistha’ is completed,” Kaneria said. (David Warner Delivers Special Message To India Following Pran Pratishtha Ceremony At Ram Mandir)

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ritual was observed with army helicopters releasing flowers onto the shrine. Additionally, PM Modi rained petals on laborers who were a part of the team that built the magnificent Ram Temple.

He was also seen praying to Lord Shiva at Ayodhya Dham and spreading flowers on the Jatayu deity inside the Ram Temple. Speaking to the guests invited to the Pran Pratishtha event, Prime Minister Modi said that the unveiling of the Ram Lalla idol is a time of humility as well as success after a protracted fight.

This is a time to commemorate not just our shared happiness but also the maturation of Indian society. This is a moment that is equal parts humility and victory. There are several examples around the globe of nations that struggled hard to right historical wrongs and injustices. But the way we untied the knots and settled every unresolved matter gives us optimism that our future will be even more lovely and satisfying than the past “PM Modi said
According to the PM, the temple’s construction—which some had feared would spark a firestorm—now serves as a symbol of harmony, serenity, patience, and integration.

Additionally, there was a saying that said, “Ram Mandir bana toh aag lag jaegi”—that is, building a Ram temple would cause a conflagration. Such individuals were ignorant of the virtues of our community and the spirit that unites us all. Now, this magnificent residence of Shri Ram Lalla will serve as a testament to his patience, peace, harmony, and social cohesion. Instead of starting a fire, the building of this temple emanated a wonderful spirit that has spread to all of us,” he said.

The Ayodhya temple, he said, bears witness to a revived national awareness of Lord Ram and his significance in our day-to-day existence. Prime Minister Modi presided over hour-long ceremonies at the spectacular “Pran Pratishtha,” which included the unveiling of the Ram Lalla idol.
