Four Real Madrid players are detained after an alleged pornographic video with a youngster

Four unidentified Real Madrid junior players have been detained by Spanish police for reportedly exchanging a pornographic film with a young girl over Whatsapp.

The players, who are between the ages of 20 and 21, were taken into custody on Thursday at the club’s practice facility. After making testimonies at police headquarters, they were eventually freed, according to the publication El Confidencial.

The minor’s mother reported the incident to police in Mogan, Gran Canaria, and as per her daughter’s account, the mother did not authorize the release of the tape, leading to the arrest. According to the investigation, these players disseminated the footage over WhatsApp, according to reports from El Confidencial and Cadena SER radio station.

The youngster did not provide his or her permission for either the recording or the broadcast. Four of the players that were detained are from Real Madrid’s B squad, Castilla, and three of them are from the C team.

The girl reportedly maintained a consensual connection, and the filming occurred in June without her knowledge, according to the Cadena SER story, which cited sources close to Real Madrid. For this reason, they are accused of sharing the tape to third parties.

Real Madrid revealed that a total of 4 players were implicated in a statement it released after the announcement of the arrest.

“Real Madrid wants to communicate that it has discovered that three Real Madrid C players and a Castilla player have spoken to the Civil Guard about a complaint regarding the suspected WhatsApp dissemination of a private film. The club will take the necessary action once we are fully aware of the circumstances, it was said in the statement.

The arrests follow claims of sexual assault against the former president of the soccer federation, Luis Rubiales, who last month kissed Jenni Hermoso, the winner of Spain’s World Cup, on the lips and caused anger.

Irene Montero, Spain’s Minister of Equality, responded to the situation and said that disseminating sexual photographs constitutes violence: “Spreading sexual images without consent is also sexual violence, and this is recognized by the Law “Only yes means yes. Spain has declared that we have a responsibility to protect all women’s rights and not turn a blind eye. She posted on X, “The victim and her family have my complete support.
