Real Madrid has confirmed Karim Benzema will leave the club after this season in La Liga

Real Madrid announced on Sunday that Karim Benzema’s contract would not be extended for the next campaign.
Real Madrid said that it and the French striker had come to an agreement to “put an end to his brilliant and unforgettable” time with the team.

The news of Benzema’s upcoming trip to Saudi Arabia coincides with the announcement.

Since joining Real Madrid in 2009, Benzema has spent 14 seasons with the club. A record for any player with the Spanish powerhouse, he assisted Madrid in winning 25 championships.

He won four Spanish leagues, five Club World Cups, and five Champions Leagues among other honours.
