The previous league game saw Amritsar defeat Fazilka

The Amritsar district cricket team defeated Fazilka by ten wickets in the final league match of the Punjab State Inter-District U-16 Tournament.

After winning the toss, Amritsar decided to field. Fazilka were all out at 129 while batting first. Paras amassed 46 runs. Gursewak Singh claimed four wickets for 44 runs, while Rohan Sharma claimed five wickets for 41 runs.

At 206 in the second half of the game, Amritsar was out of the game. Damanjit scored 46 runs, while Niket Nanda scored 58. At 138 runs, Fazilka was all out in the second inning. In response, Amritsar scored 64 runs and won after Gursewak claimed five wickets for 48 runs and Rohan Sharma claimed three wickets for 50 runs.

The Amritsar Games Association’s Honorary Secretary, Inderjit Singh Bajwa, wished the team luck and hoped they would do well in the next rounds of the competition.
