Watch as Chris Gayle challenges Usain Bolt, the legendary sprinter, in a 100-meter race and says, “To This Day, He is Scared of Me.”

There was rivalry between two of the most recognizable names to come out of the Caribbean. The two-time T20 World Cup champion and self-proclaimed “University Boss,” Chris Gayle, issued a serious challenge to the eight-time Olympic gold medalist and “Fastest Man Alive,” Usain Bolt, expressing his desire to exact revenge on his fellow countryman.

Gayle related a story about how Bolt had kicked him out of a charity game. As the West Indies great revealed, the sprinter is a respectable fast bowler and defeated the renowned opening batsman with a brief ball.

Bolt had Gayle on the back foot with a few of the shorter deliveries that he left, but the Universe Boss was removed for an inside edge into the stumps when Bolt decided to show off his prowess and slam a couple of boundaries.

“I was kicked out of a charity game by Usain Bolt.” He was also invited to the game by me. To be honest, he bowled a fairly excellent bouncer—a darn good bouncer. got underneath it. What am I doing? This game is wonderful. I then begin to pound him. Strike him for one or two sixes and a few fours. Eventually, however, I managed to get an inside edge onto the stumps,” Gayle said.

The former WI international then challenged Bolt to a 100-meter race. “Please let me go; I want to go racing.” He still becomes terrified of me. Thinks I should be on a 100-meter track,” he said.

Usain Bolt, the Olympic icon, has been named the ambassador for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The United States of America and the West Indies will jointly host the competition.

WI’s season will begin on June 2, 2024, at Providence Stadium in Guyana, with a matchup versus Papua New Guinea. The two-time winners, who have a respectable squad that might challenge some of the best opponents the competition has to offer, will try to take advantage of home advantage and win a third championship.
