24 people are hurt when a UP Roadways bus plunges into a 25-foot pit in Ghaziabad

Police said that 24 people on a Greyhound bus suffered injuries when the bus plunged into a 25-deep ditch on Thursday.

According to them, the event happened on the Delhi-Meerut highway (DME) when the bus was traveling from Meerut to Delhi.

“Bus driver Pradeep admitted to the police that he had no memory of how he lost steering control. He wasn’t intoxicated, according to DCP (rural), Vivek Chand Yadav.

According to him, 24 people were hurt in the collision and have been treated at the private and public hospitals located in Sanjay Nagar.

According to the DCP, all of the wounded passengers are from the Bijnor area.

The police have also received CCTV video that shows the whole crash, according to the authorities.
