At the Banaras Railway Station, the Railways have constructed a minor hospital as a move towards public health and welfare. In addition to the emergency services that passengers would get at no cost, the general public will also have access to reasonably priced medications and medical care.

Eight more stations will have a little hospital open.

An agreement has been reached with Mumbai’s “Magic Dil” to establish “mini hospitals” at eight more Banaras train Division train stations. Prayagraj Rambagh, Chhapra (Bihar), Siwan (Bihar), Deoria, Mau, Ghazipur City, Gyanpur Road, and Ballia are among the eight stations.

The “City Center” plan calls for developing the railroad station with the requirements of the general public in mind.

‘One Rupee’ Clinic

‘One Rupee’ Clinic is the name of the clinic, according to center in-charge Dr Prashant. All necessary preparations have been made to provide first aid to passengers in accordance with railroad practice. He said that if necessary, the patient would be transported, along with a thorough treatment report, to a government hospital.

Both Branded and Generic Drugs

The medical shop will include both branded and generic medications. Following a thorough study, generic medications will be supplied. The patient will get branded medication if they are not happy.
