UP Husband kills wife because he intended to give his sister a gold ring and television for their wedding

A dispute over a present the bride received from her brother led to the death of the couple during their Uttar Pradesh wedding. According to authorities, Chandra Prakash Mishra’s wife was furious with him for giving his sister a television and a gold ring during her wedding, so she beat him to death. The tragedy happened in a hamlet close to the district of Barabanki.

An NDTV story said that 35-year-old Chandra Prakash Mishra planned to give his sister a television and a gold ring on April 26th, the day of her wedding.

The scheme that Chandra Prakash had devised did not sit well with her husband, Chabi, and the two got into a furious dispute.

Angry, Chabi called on her brothers to “teach Chandra Prakash a lesson,” and for around an hour, they pummeled him mercilessly with sticks, according to authorities.

Family members hurried Chandra Prakash to the hospital, where he passed away from wounds sustained during care.

Five people, including Chabi and her brothers, have been detained, according to the police, and a case has been opened in this regard. Police added, “We have the accused in custody, and we are continuing our investigation.”

Anger at not receiving a present for their wedding anniversary, a Bengaluru lady is said to have stabbed her husband in February of this year as he was sleeping in their home.

An dispute about not delivering an anniversary present broke out between the pair in the early hours of February 27, according to a Wion report. The 35-year-old accused then stabbed her 37-year-old husband, Kiran, with a kitchen knife while he was sleeping.

Startled by her assault, Kiran shoved her away before she could do any more damage to him. He then informed the neighbors and sought treatment for his hand injuries at a private hospital. On March 1, Bellandur police filed a complaint against her.

A day before their wedding anniversary, the victim told the police that he was unable to purchase her a present because of his grandfather’s passing, which caused tension between them.
