Faridabad police Dr. Ashok Kumar Verma makes his 168th blood donation

Sunday was the 168th time that Sub-Inspector Dr. Ashok Kumar Verma, who is now employed with the State Narcotics Control Bureau, has given blood. It is said that he is the Police Department’s most frequent blood donor.

Karnal-born Verma said he decided to give blood today since it is Lord Mahavir Jayanti.

In 1990, while attending college, he organized 495 blood donation drives, according to his statements. In addition, the 53-year-old police officer has given platelets at least 81 times. On January 26, 2020, he received the President’s Gold Medal for distinguished service.
