FIR filed against a lady who claimed that her daughter’s father is Ravi Kishan

At the Hazratganj police station in Lucknow, a formal complaint has been filed against six individuals, one of them is a lady who has said that her daughter is fathered by BJP MP Ravi Kishan.

Preeti Shukla, the wife of Ravi Kishan, filed a complaint that led to the filing of the FIR.

In addition to Aparna Thakur, other identities in the FIR include her husband Rajesh Soni, daughter Shenova Soni, son Sonak Soni, journalist Khurshid Khan, and leader of the Samajwadi Party Vivek Kumar Pandey.

According to the police, the suspects have been charged with criminal intimidation under sections 504 (intentional insult), 195 (providing false evidence), 386 (extortion by intimidation), 388 (extortion by threat), and 120-B (conspiracy).

In the FIR, the spouse of the BJP MP also claimed that Aparna Soni, also known as Aparna Thakur, had intimidated her by claiming to have connections to the underworld.

According to authorities, she reportedly sought a ransom of Rs 20 crore and threatened to damage Ravi Kishan’s reputation by linking him to a fictitious rape case if her demand was not fulfilled.

According to the FIR, a complaint about this case was filed with the Mumbai Police; nevertheless, on April 15, Aparna gave a press conference in Lucknow during which she made false claims. The others listed are allegedly also implicated in this, according to the FIR.

Ravi Kishan has been re-nominated by the BJP to run from Gorakhpur in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
