Five people died in a car-bus collision on Mathura’s Yamuna Expressway

Five persons were killed on Monday in Mathura, according to police, after their automobile caught fire following an accident with a bus on the Yamuna Expressway.

According to a senior official, the event happened in the morning close to the 117th milestone on the Agra-Noida lane of the highway, which is located inside the boundaries of the Mahavan police station.

There was an impact between the Swift vehicle and the bus. As of right now, it has been discovered that the bus’s tire ruptured, causing it to lose control and turn into the road. Both the bus and the Swift car that was approaching from behind caught fire, according to SSP Mathura Shailesh Pandey.

The people inside the automobile were burnt to death, according to Pandey, but the passengers aboard the bus were able to escape.

He claimed that one of the dead has been identified and that his family was being contacted.

The officer said that further legal actions are being taken.
