Five-Year-Old Boy Killed in UP Celebration Fire

According to authorities, a five-year-old youngster was slain in Uttar Pradesh during a celebratory shooting. The event happened in the Mataundh region of the Banda district.

“A small boy named Shambhu Shukla who had gone to a family function was killed in a celebratory firing on Saturday evening,” ASP Lakshmi Niwas Mishra said.

The officer said, “One Prateek Shukla fired during the family function using a country-made pistol.”

According to sources, police have submitted the corpse for a postmortem test and filed a FIR against the accused at the Mataundh police station under the applicable IPC provisions.
