Congress MLC Deepak Singh has written a letter to the Chairman of the Legislative Council and protested. Singh wrote in the letter that the government also put a picture of Savarkar among the photographs of freedom fighters and great men who kissed the gallows for freedom during the repair of the Legislative Council. Which is an insult to the freedom fighters.
In fact, recently a picture of Vinayak Damodar Veer Savarkar, an Indian freedom fighter and a fierce nationalist leader, was installed at the main gate of the UP Legislative Council. Congress MLC Deepak Singh has made several serious allegations against Savarkar seeking removal of the picture from the gate of the Legislative Council. The letter written by the Congress MLC has made the opposition and the opposition face to face.
Describing Deepak Singh's statement as unfortunate, Yogi government minister Siddharthnath Singh said that Congress leaders and MLC do not know history, they want to keep history limited to one family. History is very big. A patriotism has been written in which Savarkar ji also comes. Indiraji had given a postage stamp and said that he was a national warrior.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that everyone will get inspiration from the picture gallery in the Legislative Council.
