Students in UP schools will be evaluated every three months

In Uttar Pradesh, the department of basic education’s schools will evaluate its pupils on a quarterly basis.Testing will be done for this between September 11 and September 16. Based on the goals and learning objectives attained using the Saral App. Students in Classes 1 through 5 will be assessed on their proficiency in language and mathematics, and Students in Classes 6 through 8 will be tested on their proficiency in mathematics and science.

The state project office uses the GeM portal to print test questions and OMR sheets for assessment.

In the districts, question papers and OMR sheets will be provided by chosen printers, and the same will then be brought to the schools.

One question paper will be given to every five pupils in Classes 1 through 3. Each student in Classes 4 through 8 will get a set of exam questions. The Basic Education Officer (BEO), Block Education Officer, and District Coordinator (Training) will be in charge of administering the test honestly.

In order to assess pupils from Classes 1 through 3 in the form of an interview, instructors would reportedly pose questions from the question paper, according to BSA, Prayagraj, Praveen Kumar Tiwari. They use a black ballpoint pen to manually fill out the OMR page after getting the response.

In the absence of a response, the circles will remain empty. The OMR sheet will then be scanned using the Saral app at that point. The test will last one hour and 30 minutes. Within one hour, teachers must finish the scanning procedure.

Similar to this, students in Classes 4 through 8 will complete the OMR form for their own assessment.A nine-digit student ID will also need to be completed by each student.
