UP CM Yogi attends a cabinet meeting at the building site of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya

The Uttar Pradesh cabinet met on Thursday in Ayodhya as the city gets ready for the opening of the Ram temple in January of next year.

November 9 is an important day since it was on this day in 2019 that the Supreme Court decided the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi case, allowing the Ram Temple to be built.

Thursday morning’s cabinet meeting took place at Ramkatha Museum, after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his colleagues had offered prayers at the Hanuman Garhi temple.

The Ram Mandir building site was also visited by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

This year’s first meeting of the state executive body will take place in the holy city. The museum boasts opulent furnishings.

Posters of Lord Hanuman and Lord Shri Ram were placed in the cabinet meeting venue.
