UP Constable Takes His Own Life Due To Supposed Family Issues

In Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, a 25-year-old police officer shot himself in the head on Friday. Arun Yadav from Amroha district was reportedly on duty at the Gularia Gauri Shankar Temple in the Sirauli region till the evening, according to a PTI report. He is said to have shot himself in the head after turning off his cell phone and going back to his lodgings.

Police and residents hurried to Yadav’s room upon hearing gunshots, where they discovered him wounded. After being brought to a neighboring hospital, Yadav was sent to the district hospital, where he eventually passed away from his wounds.

According to The Indian Express, the authorities did not discover a suicide note.

Manush Pareek, the Superintendent of Police (Rural), came at the Sirauli police station along with other authorities to look into the situation. They conducted an analysis of Yadav’s mobile phone and conducted interviews with his coworkers in order to ascertain the potential causes of his alleged suicide. Yadav shot himself, according to the officials, for familial reasons.

According to Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan, Senior Superintendent of Police, investigations are being conducted to determine Yadav’s suicide cause. Authorities are looking into his call details, and PTI reports that his family has been notified.

In another example, the father of one of the girls reportedly committed suicide in the Hamirpur region of Uttar Pradesh, days after the girls were discovered dead in a brick kiln, as reported by Hindustan Times. In the Ghatampur neighborhood of Kanpur, the 45-year-old man’s daughter and niece were sexually assaulted by a gang. About two kilometers from his home, his corpse was found hanging from a tree.

According to the article, family members said that the father was under pressure to back out of his accusation over the gang rape. The dead man’s family said that he had been threatened and asked to drop the gang rape lawsuit by the accused’s family.
