Watch “Divya Abhishek” of “Ram Lalla” as Ayodhya Mandir Celebrates Ram Navami!

Taking place at the “garbh griha” on Wednesday morning, the “divya abhishek” of Ramlalla took place as the recently constructed Ram Mandir in Ayodhya prepared for the first ceremonies of Ram Navami 2009.

After Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha, the holy day of Ram Navami is being observed for the first time at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Images of Ram Lalla’s “divya abhishek” were shared by the temple officials on Wednesday morning. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union abode Minister Amit Shah, and a number of other dignitaries expressed their happiness that Lord Ram was now at last in his “permanent home” in the magnificent Ayodhya temple.

The “Surya Tilak” is scheduled to occur between 12:16 and 12:21 p.m., at which time the sun will metaphorically mark the forehead of the idol of Ram Lalla that is housed in the “garbh griha.”

On Ram Navami, large crowds are anticipated in Ayodhya to see Ram Lalla’s “Surya Tilak” or “Surya Abhishek.”
