Ghaziabad Lok Sabha Election 2024: On April 26, Ghaziabad will hold its second round of voting in the General Elections 2024. On June 4, the results will be counted. Elections for Uttar Pradesh’s 80 Lok Sabha seats will take place in seven stages, from April 19 to June 1.

There are five legislative assembly segments in the Ghaziabad Lok Sabha constituency. Dholana is under the Hapur district, whereas Loni, Muradnagar, Sahibabad, and Ghaziabad are under the Ghaziabad district.

Results of the 2019 Lok Sabha election: The Ghaziabad seat had 55.78% of voters cast ballots. Vijay Kumar Singh, the BJP candidate, received 5,01,500 votes, enough for a winning margin of 9,44,503 votes. Suresh Bansal, the SP candidate, came in second with 4,43,003 votes.

VK Singh took home the seat for the first time in the 2014 general elections. He received 7,58,482 votes, or 56.50% of the total. With 1,91,222 votes (14.24%), Congress candidate Raj Babbwar finished second in the race.

Thirteen candidates competed for the Ghaziabad assembly seat in the 2017 elections. Ghaziabad was one of the 312 seats that the Bharatiya Janata Party managed to gain. The Bharatiya Janata Party received a lopsided majority of the votes in the Ghaziabad election, with Atul Garg defeating his closest opponent, Suresh Bansal of the Bahujan Samaj Party, by a substantial margin of 70,505 votes.
