Who is Taking Out the Gangsters in the UP? Jeeva’s murder after Atiq and Ashraf’s raises suspicion of a targeted killing

The assassin of Sanjeev Jeeva posed as a lawyer to carry a gun and murder the feared criminal inside the courtroom since he knew that attorneys wouldn’t be searched inside the Lucknow courthouse. Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were murdered outside a hospital gate less than two months ago by assassins posing as journalists.

The murders in both incidents have not been connected to any competing groups, therefore Uttar Pradesh Police has not been able to determine their motives in each case. Jeeva was a feared assassin of Mukhtar Ansari, a mobster who was imprisoned.

The police believe Yadav had scouted out the courthouse before deciding to pose as a lawyer.

Similar to the Atiq-Ashraf scenario, there is no obvious reason for the attacker’s actions in this instance, which raises the possibility that they are contract hits that have been paid for. Jeeva, who was recently found guilty of killing BJP politician Brahmdutt Dwivedi, was one of the top 15 criminals in Uttar Pradesh. Jeeva was charged with over two dozen offenses, including murder, kidnapping, and extortion. She was also indicted under the Gangsters Act. He was kept in a prison in Lucknow that has a high-security barrack.
