A man in Atlanta takes his girlfriend out, but leaves after she consumes 48 oysters

A lady was left alone to pay for 48 oysters and ended up with a £150 bill after her companion vanished. @equanaaa of TikTok went on a fancy date with her lover, who had been itching to spoil her for a while. The two decided on Fontaine’s Oyster House in Atlanta, where she indulged on four dozen oysters for around $15 (or about £12.30) apiece.

The narrative proceeded as the user of social media ordered potatoes, crab cakes, and lemon drop martinis. She liked her dinner and said, “You asked me out, so I’m going to savor my food.” Her unidentified date was shocked by her selections but didn’t seem to mind.

Her actions didn’t impress the guy at all. He pretended to go the toilet when the $184 (£150) money was handed to him, then he left and did not come back.

The tab, which included his “one drink” in addition to her meal and beverages, was left to her. She then revealed a snapshot of their text exchange, in which he explained his original plans and how things developed at the restaurant. “I suggested going out for drinks, and you ordered all that food,” he said. I may use Cash App to transfer you the necessary funds for the beverages.

The restaurant manager Kelcey Flanagan shared her thoughts on the ostensibly expensive order of 48 oysters after the video went viral on TikTok (illegal in India). Four dozen oysters, she said, was far from the biggest order they had ever received. This is a common occurrence in our organization, she continued. It was really rather funny.

Several social media users reacted on the trending video, the article said. The video has received over 4 million views so far. The viral video gives the impression that it’s not unexpected that the man left so quickly. I’m giggling because you were eating those oysters while the dude was plotting his escape, one commenter said.

Another user said, “The nerve to ask ‘WHAT’S NEXT’ after devouring 50 oysters is absurd.” A third person chimed in, saying, “I would have made a quick dash for the exit to get out of that situation.”
