Discover The Bihar Dentist With A Huge Collection Of 2100 Ganesh Idols

Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival that is enthusiastically observed across India. A guy from Patna in Bihar is in the news for being the Lord’s greatest devotee. Who knows how? Thousands of Ganesh statues are claimed to have been gathered by him. The dentist Dr. Ashutosh Trivedi is well-known for this collection. According to sources, Dr. Trivedi has 2100 Ganesh statues. The majority of them are on display at his clinic’s cabin. He does aarti in front of these idols every morning since he is a devotee of Lord Ganesh.

The fact that each idol in his collection is unique from the others is its finest feature. In one, Lord Ganesh is shown as a sleeping idol, while in the other, he is seen riding the rat known as his vaahana. The name Ganesh Clinic for Dr. Trivedi’s clinic comes as no surprise. The majority of the idols—about 1800—are housed at his clinic; the remaining 300 are stored in his residence. He has sculptures ranging in size from one inch to seven feet. Ashutosh claims that his collection includes rare idols from Kerala, Gujarat, and Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh), as well as idols from more than 20 other Indian states. Additionally, he owns sculptures from the Philippines, Thailand, the Philippines, France, Dubai, and Nepal.

During his medical studies in Mumbai (2005–2006), Dr. Trivedi claims that upon his return from the Siddhivinayak temple, he purchased a Ganesh idol and carried it to his residence. He began collecting them after that and it nearly became an addiction for him. He now purchases any Ganesh statue that is different from the ones in his collection.

He perused literature and publications about Lord Ganesh because of his interest about the deity. He learned through learning about Ganesh that he represents wealth and good fortune and that each portion of his body represents significant aspects of life. For instance, Lord Ganesh’s large head represents wisdom, his large stomach represents healthy digestion, his tiny eyes represent clear eyesight, and his little mouth denotes minimal speech.
