Following a man’s post about “absolute nonsense,” Uber takes action. Delhi driver gains widespread notoriety

Gajender Yadav, an X user, posted a disturbing story about his wife and an Uber driver on the social networking network. He blasted Uber for not answering his wife’s SOS calls throughout the event and accused the driver of trying to overcharge him. Ultimately, Uber contacted Yadav to confirm the measures taken against the driver.

After traveling barely one kilometer, the driver of Yadav’s wife’s Uber in Delhi requested an extra Rs 200. Uber did not inquire further or make any effort to resolve the matter, even after hitting the SOS button twice.

Yadav was even more irritated when Uber demanded verification of the money given to the driver in response to the circumstances. He emphasized that passenger safety issues were the real priority, not financial gain. He noted in a later post that Uber had returned the money, but he questioned why it was so difficult to comprehend the safety issues.

Yadav provided an update on the SOS button seen inside Uber taxis in a later article. “Uber claims that the SOS issue is a third-party matter and is not handled by Uber,” Yadav said.

Yadav said that Uber had terminated the driver’s account due to misbehavior in the last message. “Uber called and informed me that the driver’s Uber account had been canceled. promised to hide his taxi from Uber users,” the message said.
